Went there for the custard and fell in love with their "smash burger". Since our first visit when we moved here we've brought all of our out-of-town guests and friends here. Even the St. Louis family enjoyed the frozen custard at Freddy's.

We go here for early dinner on Sundays a lot. The food has always been great, but the ordering experience the last two trips has been an issue. The earlier issue was no big deal, but the most recent trip was enough to write a review. We order burgers, pull around to the window, I give my credit card, wait, get the card back, wait some more, and they hand out some ice cream in a cup and say thank you. I explain this isn't my order, they say "..oh, you had (repeat my order) I need to get a manager to clear this.." and steps to get a manager to back out the credit card transaction and do it over. Normally this is no problem. Manager comes to the window, and seems to be unable to roll back the transaction, so he's going to give us the burgers (about $20 worth) for what the $3 they charged us. Awesome smash burgers! California style is an attempt at In and Out , it's not quite the same but it was still really good. Next time i'll ask for more sauce (animal style at In and Out ). The chili cheese fries were killer! Reminded me of Kystals but better quality ingredients. I'll definitely go back, they have a jalapeño burg...
