Freebirds World Burrito in Sugar Land

I went to Freebirds at the Sugarland location in January of 2022- the last time I was here was 13 months ago in December 2020.Dylan and Kwab gave me excellent customer service. I hadnt been to Freebirds in over a year and they were able to patiently explain to me (during a lunchtime rush) what vegetarian/vegan options they had, why Freebirds is no longer carrying spinach wrap (bring it back plz), and they were able to accomadate alot of requests of mine- which include:Making the monster burrito, explaining alot of the new ingredients to me, thoroughly mixing the burrito upon request, wrapping the burrito, cutting it in half and then rewrapping it on request.As you can see in my picture, Dylan even put arrows to show me where the cut was made so I could open the burrito the best way. Friendly staff. The food was fresh, hot and good.

On a recent business trip to Austin and Houston, it was later in the evening and we'd just checked into our hotel room.  My co-worker and I were both starving but weren't up for heading to a restaurant for a sit-down meal, so after some online searching, we decided to stop into Freebirds World Burrito for a quite bite that we could grab and take back to the hotel. I'm from the Northeast where we have several types of these "fast-food" burrito places, and Freebirds was no different than any other similar spot I've ordered from.  I ordered the Freebird veggie burrito with your regular burrito toppings (i.e rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, etc.)  It was good and absolutely satisfying.   The reason for my 3-start review was that the customer service SUCKED.  We walked in about 20 minutes before closing, and it was quiet.  I think there were maybe 2 other folks in the restaurant.  The kids behind the counter were not welcoming, didn't engage in any sort of conversation, and I don't believe any type of common words came out of their mouth like "hello" or even a "thank you."
