I really enjoy this somewhat hidden treasure. If our usual breweries or places to go are too busy/crowded we have (so far) been able to pop in here without any issues. There are always some cute dogs to see in here and the pizza place connected is always amazing. It’s the “Original Papa Nicks” if you want to look that up.

French Broad Brewery is one of the original Asheville and NC breweries. I have always loved their beers and brewery atmosphere. We recently visited the brewery (5-14-2021 mid afternoon) and we were met by a very rude blonde female working behind the bar. We had questions about drink choice's and were told we could "READ ABOUT IT" at the other end of the bar. There was not another customer in the building. I will never buy another French Broad Brewery product or suggest them to anyone else.
