Fukumaru Teriyaki is located in a small strip mall which also houses a Korean restaurant and a kebab take out. When I stopped by on a recent Saturday evening none were very busy. I generally like Japanese food so I decided to try Fukumaru Teriyaki. The interior is pretty plain with a pop machine in the rear but is clean. One orders at the front desk and the food is brought out to your table. The menu is limited with teriyaki of course, udon, and katsu (a breaded cutlet). There are also pot stickers and a few other appetizers. Brown rice is an option which I liked. There were not many if any choices for vegetables except for tempura. I ordered the combination plate and chose spicy chicken teriyaki, pork katsu, brown rice, and pot stickers. Everything was ok but there was a lot of fried stuff and no vegetables. A brown meal. You do get lots of food so you won't leave hungry. Would I return - I doubt it. The overall experience left me with a heavy feeling. On the whole though the food was not bad and is inexpensive.
