Garden Court Bistro in Anaheim

Me and my friend came here before going to Disneyland for lunch. The server came over and took our order. There was us and another father and son in the restaurant. After placing our food order a large hispanic family came in 10 minutes after us. Me and my friend both noticed the large family not only received their food before us but received complimentary bread for the entire table. I inquired how comes we didn't get bread. The manager said she's new and would ask why. She came back and said it's because we didn't order soup, salad or pasta. The proper CUSTOMER SERVICE would be to bring bread and then explain why. That's how you keep your customers happy and maintain good business. I found her response to be strange because I have experience in Hospitality and I've never witnessed this before. At this point I was nervous they would spit or drop my food because we inquired so I did some heavy PRAYING over our meal. People are still people. I wouldn't come back here again. I didn't give them 1 star because the steak fries were good.

We decided to come back to the hotel for a midday nap and had dinner here tonight. We just walked in and we're seated promptly. I liked that it was not crowded at all as everyone was probably at Disneyland. I had the bacon cheeseburger and a Cesar side salad,  and the kids split the pizza.  I really liked my Cesar salad and the burger was big and beautiful but tasted ok. I should have asked for ranch. My kids are split They did have a kids menu that we may consider if we dine here again. The kids drinks came in cute takeaway dino cups. Our server was great and checked in on us a few times. Easy dinner with no line!

Ask for Eduardo. He was super friendly and took very good care of us. Their bread is phenomenal. I got the California Chicken and it was tasty.
