Delicious, cook-it-yourself styled restaurant. I only give it 4 stars because I wish they had more variety for seasonings to cook with the meat. Also, I don’t eat red meat and the shrimp wasn’t cleaned, so I could only eat the chicken unfortunately.

I found this place after looking on Google for a spot nearby where I was staying that opened up late. At the time of this review they close at midnight on Saturday. I glanced at some food photos and photos of the inside of the restaurant and I was sold. Gen Korean BBQ House is located in midtown, Houston. Easy to find and plenty of street parking nearby this particular night. Upon entry we were greeted immediately and I was immediately taken aback by the ambiance and music. The seating is separated by clear glass with ambianced with blue lighting. I thought this was pretty cool. The music was was a mix of everything which I liked.
