Genghis Grill in Houston

I like Genghis Grill. I have to stop waiting until I'm starving to eat, as I've mentioned to many of my Yelp Elites , their posts make me hungry. And when I do go out to eat, I forget about taking the pertinent pictures. Genghis Grill is set up where first you pick your bowl size, order you starches and eggs if any. You have to pile all your ingredients onto the bowl. They offer several meats and vegetables to choose from. They have several sauces along with a host of spices. Now the trick is....EVERYTHING must fit in the bowl. I figured if I put my meats in my bowl, smash it all and tuck the sides I can put more vegetables in my bowl. Yup, once the vegetables or stacked nice and high I smash again I go back to the meats. I give my bowl with sauces to the cook and wait. My build your own Genghis bowl is as pictured! Oh I forgot, they charge .49 cents for the  eggs now they use to be free. They started that about a few years ago, if I recall the eggs had to be balanced on the top as well.

Solid four stars. Would have gotten five stars but charging for the egg now is not cool. Eggs used to be part of your meal. I don't feel you all should charge for an egg. Food: we got two bowls and stacked that meat up tot he top lol should have went with smaller bowl for better price and just stacked it to the dam top lol. 15.99 is too much for the regular bowl in my opinion. This should be like 11.99 or so. I think they raised the prices. I don't remember spending over 40.00 here for two so yeah. Here is another reason why I give them 4 stars. I feel like it's a bit overpriced. However the food is great and very tasty. All of the meats are fresh and taste really good. I am a huge fan of this concept. I'll definitely come b...

Went there and food was great with so many options. The poor waiter (I think Jacob) was the only waiter in the restaurant. I commented him so much for his efforts while taking on everyone in the restaurant. The manager was there helping out but it mostly fell on the waiter to get things done.
