I love the concept of Genghis Grill (GG). It is one of my favorite chains. However, their (covid driven) forced change of filling-your-bowl-for-you, rather than you creating it yourself, has produced congestion, causing major slow downs. Correct staffing is the fix. It's still a great place, whether your a carnivore or want vegies for food, though expensive! All GG are not created equal. We came in at 1:30PM... saw up to 7 GG workers (out at one time). About 25% of the social distance tables were occupied, most customers were already eating. After we were seated, selected our bowl size and ordered drinks... we got in line, only to find just 1 GG person filling bowls. If that wasn't bad enough, when it was our turn, she stopped to restock most of the choices-on-the-line... 5+ minute wait. When we returned to the table, no drinks (really?). We finally got our drinks, but they went empty, having to get up, to request refills. I order 2 eggs with my bowl (an additional charge), when the bowl, came, no eggs! I had to chase down the server and request them. I was half done with my bowl, before I got my eggs. We were there on the weekend, and their 'lunch' discount was not available. Their prices (in my opinion) are high for stir-fry type of dining. The lunch discount makes the price somewhat tolerable, when...
