So this is ramen that is served in a grocery store with plastic bowls and flimsy spoons. Not expecting much right? Well for ~$14 I definitely was. This was mediocre ramen at best which is fine considering the spot, but this would be a higher rating if the cost was less. For this price I would expect a more flavorful broth with better noodles. I went with the traditional pork, but felt that maybe it wasn't cooked long enough (same with the noodles). Again, it wasn't a terrible bowl of ramen. But there are definitely better options around the DMV, especially with that price. Spending close to $20 (including a drink) I would expect more. Get your groceries at Whole Foods, but then get your ramen somewhere else.

Food okay. Takes 20-30 minutes and good luck trying to get someone who speaks or understands english. Two out of three times I have gotten the wrong order.

LOVE Genji as my go-to local ramen spot. I always get the original and then add as little or as many pepper flakes to make it spicy (better than the spicy ramen bowl IMO). It's inside the Whole Foods so you can get a drink or sushi or pizza slice or whatever to add on to the meal while you eat at the bar. Super fast and convenient service but only open until 8PM so get there early in the evening.
