outstanding home cooked meals. service is very good and fast. The prices are very reasonable. My spouse and I live in Gaston and it's actually a short trip down Hwy 321 to Southside restaurant. One of my favorite dishes is the country/chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes gravy and lima beans and fried okra. We are fans of another popular restaurant that has a lizard affiliated with it, but let me tell you that George's Southside Restaurant is the better choice.
