My husband and I love ginger beer, so when we learned about Ginger's Revenge's alcoholic ginger beer, it was a must-stop in Asheville. The taproom is in a warehouse building, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is open most afternoons and has plenty of free parking. It's beautiful inside, and I loved the mural on the wall, which is the company mascot, aptly named Ginger. Our "beer-tender" Tammy quickly started our tab and explained the menu, answering our questions. We ordered a flight of blueberry mosaic, lemondrop dry hop, lime agave, and cranberry herb ginger beers to share. Flights are the way to go, because I couldn't decide on just one flavor. While the blueberry mosaic was my favorite, I would order any of those flavors again. I don't think you can go wrong with any flavor of Ginger's Revenge. We purchased several 4-packs to take home, which I recommend, as buying direct helps the independent brewers. My husband and I also bought t-shirts, and I appreciated Tammy searching for an XS shirt for me. If you're into ginger beer or cocktails like Moscow Mules, stop by Ginger's Revenge. It's worth the time and drive.

Honestly, can't say enough good things about this place. Lovely, open space. Great selection of ginger beers that aren't as bad as one might imagine a ginger beer to be. As a matter of fact, we rated 5 of them on Untappd and gave most near a 4/5 rating. They're different, in a great way. Definitely worth a stop outside downtown Asheville. The staff were extremely friendly and we enjoyed our time here. The place smells strongly of ginger, but you'd expect that as they make it here. Favorites include the Cranberry Herb which was like drinking Thanksgiving stuffing in a glass and Hibiscus Lavendar, which we'd had elsewhere and drew us here.

Ginger's Revenge is hands down our favorite place in Asheville. Not only is the ginger beer AMAZING, but the space is soo welcoming and the service is wonderful. Tammy was very helpful and friendly, and everyone gave our pup so much love. They also partner with meaningful non-profits. Do yourself a favor and spend an afternoon at Ginger's Revenge, you won't regret it!
