This experience was so horrible we can’t even justify the one star. Food was horrid, nothing came out cooked right (all well done and dry) after we waited 30 min for a burger and a pasta. The service was even worse. The server was at the bar on his cell phone for 10 min while we sat there trying to get his attention. This place needs some serious work, ashamed we even wasted our time with this one. Yuck yuck and really yuck.

The food, service and setup is great! I had some wings… half old bay and the other half were Glory’s sauce, both were amazing. My wife had the fish and chips, also a great choice. The clam chowder is a solid selection. Our picky kids loved their food! I can see us becoming regulars here without a doubt. The icing on the cake was meeting one of the owners on a Friday night… as I observed him cleaning off tables and helping his team in various ways. Wow… you definitely don’t see that too much these days! Two thumbs up!

PSA: There are unvaccinated servers at Glory Days Grill who are serving children under 12 (and cannot receive a vaccine yet) WITHOUT a mask. This was our first visit to Glory Days Grill in Apex. We were very excited to find a restaurant with outdoor seating and not crowded. We felt safe bringing our children (who are under 12 and cannot receive the vaccine yet) because they had outdoor seating and the restaurant was not crowded. Our server was NOT wearing a mask, but other servers were. Unfortunately we did not learn of her vaccination status until after our meal. We spoke with the manager and were told they “are just following the guidelines” and apparently that is enough for him. As putting the safety of their customers is not the first priority, we will not be going back to Glory Days Grill.Thank you for your email, I sent a reply.
