Little hole in the wall, mom and pop place with tasty Tianjin style cuisine and huge portions. The owners are very friendly. Food took a while but can't complain considering it's a small joint with a large menu. We got the shrimp and pork buns, deep fried eggplant stuffed with shrimp and pork stuffed bitter gourd.  The buns took the longest but were a different take on regular bao. Dough wasn't too thick and filling was sufficient, yummy and juicy! I usually don't love eggplant but my husband does so we got that and I was pleasantly surprised. This is one occasion where I really enjoyed it. The eggplant wasn't mushy and the batter is like tempura batter. The sauce is like a sweet and sour sauce. Very appetizing. The bitter gourd was great too. Not too bitter and the soupy sauce that came with it was delicious. We have plenty of leftovers and will not hesitate to eat here again.

I saw Go Go Cafe listed in a top pan fried buns article and thought to give them a try. They are so tiny, located next to a tarot psychic reading shop. I have lived I this area my entire life and never noticed them. Street parking is available! The interior only has room for a table for six but walking in felt like I was visiting my uncle's kitchen. A very homey vibe. I of course for two orders of the fried buns and an order of the combination noodles. The owner was very nice and it was neat to see him making some fresh buns on the side. Flavor wise the buns were pretty good - I wish the bun layer was fluffier and the bottom is layered with sesame seeds which I wasn't a huge fan of. The owner told me the menu may be changing so I'm excited to see what new items they add. :)
