Went here last night and had a weird experience. The server seemed like he would rather be anywhere than there. He was in the middle of taking our order and just walked off to help another customer without apologizing and when he came back he forgot what we had already ordered. He also did not take our drink order. We got a few meats, one beef one was good but when he cooked the chicken we didnt think it was cooked all the way, plus he took the cooking tongs away from my bf. My bf asked him is the chicken cooked all the way and the server said "I think." The only reason I gave two starts instead of one is because the beef was good.

July covid-2021 This used to be the old Heebeen buffet. They offer both AYCE but we decided to opt out the AYCE menu as it doesnt offer the type of meat that we wanted. I would give this place an average rating as there is nothing special about their food or sauce, just an ordinary K-bbq (but 5 star customer service) if you are tired of other K-bbq in town ( good food but bad service) If you decided to visit this place try their pork jowl is highly recommended if you are a fan of pork belly cuz its fatter.

Although it's just opened I would say that it has made quite the impression so far. I came in at an early 11am just so I can escape any lines so my experience will be based off a less busier time (please keep that in mind). Environment: Walking in, you will see a boba place to your right and the main gogi friends restaurant straight ahead. Typical kbbq layout of grill and vents that are clean. Lots of space and kpop playing so speak as loud as you want. (Rating 5/5) Food: As a frequent kbbq-goer I would say that the cuts are standard with regards to the dinner menu. You got your classic bulgolgi, pork belly, spicy pork belly, and chicken. However I thoroughly enjoyed the pork neck! (That was unique). Wish there was some seafood option so you're not stuck with meat all the time tho. Had the soju peach drink which was very refreshing and enough for 4 people to take shots . (Rating 4/5) Service: Boy oh boy I thought our server was so nice! Lovely personality with a genuine restaurant IQ for getting your needs. Want plates away? More sauce? Napkins? She got all of us out the way and was on point . (Rating 5/5) Summary: As a recap, this place food-wise was honestly good, decent, affordable. No meat was bad but it certainly isn't something you've never had. However, it gets a 5 star rating from me because of the service and environment. You can talk without music being too loud and you can get your addiction fix of kbbq. NOT TOO SHABBY IF I MUST SAY SO MYSELF. FINAL RATING (5/5). Hope y'all try it out and lmk if I was right or wrong. I think it's important to support new businesses and I hope they do well!
