Golden Sea Restaurant in Anaheim

I had my wedding here on 10/2/2021 and it was amazing!! Andy, chu Minh, and staff were on point. The whole team is friendly and extremely accommodating. All of my guests had a great time! I did not hear one single complaint. My husband and I booked the entire venue and it was perfect and beautiful. Lighting, drapery, chairs, and service was excellent. Food is delicious! Andy was able to accommodate both Vietnamese and American dishes for my wedding which was super awesome of him to do. I dropped off all of my liquor and decorations a few days before the wedding and then set up the day of. No issues at all. Not sure why the reviews below me had so many complaints because Golden Sea kept all of my items for me the day before and the day after. Honestly sounds like bad planning/communication on...

As a server and restaurant manager myself, I try my best not to write reviews like this but this is one I could not really let slide. Probably one of the worst places to host an event. The venue ended up losing items and beverages that were dropped off earlier in the morning and made the wedding process very hard. When you take multiple wedding parties, especially with events like these you would expect a venue to be a little more organized. The place was not set up and individuals from our party had to do it because it was 15 minutes until the reception. Food came out way too late that no one was eating after the second course because it was taking way too long. This was in about an hour time span already and the third course didn't come out that my cousin had to tell them to just bring everything. They also had another wedding taking place on the other half of their venue but allowed additional issues to unfold with the other party. Not only did the other party come into the wedding uninvited, they also tried to start issues with us despite us telling them politely that they weren't on our guest list. You would think with them hiring security for the event would make things a lot simpler in this situation. Overall, the food was unimpressive, the service was lacking, and it was a disappointing wedding night for my family in most aspects.

My now husband and I recently had our wedding at Golden Sea Restaurant & Banquet. All we can say is that we had the most amazing time and cannot ask for a better wedding venue! We worked with Andy throughout our entire planning process up to the day of our big event. Both my husband and I live in Northern California, so it was a bit hard to coordinate and plan. But Andy was very accommodating and made sure to take care of our every need and request. On the day of the wedding, we were just awed by how attentive Andy and the Golden Sea crew were towards not just us (the bride and groom), but also towards all of our guests and vendors.
