The Golden Village Restaurant is earning two stars from me for the take-out that I received on Halloween Night, October 31st, 2015.I placed a to-go order from Golden Village at about 5 PM. I placed a simple order of Beef Lo-Mein, Orange Chicken, and General Tsos Chicken.According to the menu, each order of chicken comes with steamed rice. Since there were two orders of chicken, there should have been two things of rice. Unfortunately, we only received one thing of rice. Rice is not a big deal, it was just a minor flaw in the order. When I got home and unboxed my meal I was greeted with two boxes of a red-looking chicken, one had broccoli and one was just this red-looking chicken. I tasted both of them and both tasted exactly the same. Neither tasted like Orange Chicken or General Tsos chicken, at least, none that I have tasted from other authentic Chinese places.I then opened the box that was supposed to contain my Beef Lo-Mein. What I found were small pieces of beef, chow mein noodles, and some miscellaneous vegetables.I then decided to call the restaurant to try and get a justification or a replacement as this did not appear to be what I ordered. The restaurant told me that the noodles I received were in-fact the lo-mein noodles, despite them being the crispy noodles that their menu describes under their chow mein. They also told me that the chicken was in-fact both the General Tsos and Orange Chicken. They both looked the same. Taking the restaurants word, I decided to eat the food...
