So, I like to consider my self a ramen connoisseur. Ton ton ramen in Mililani is my go to as of rn. A co worker told me this place was “bomb af”. This place got two stars stripped away from the get go. The presentation of the food was horrible. Just threw some noodles in the bowl, some garnish, and some broth and presented it. Idk about everyone else but half the fun of eating ramen is seeing it come out set up all OCD like. Eggs, chives, ground pork/char siu, all side by side in a circular fashion. So that was an L. Anyways, I ordered the spicy tan tan ramen and I did get spicy but that was it. N...

This is my sons favorite ramen shop. We've taken him to quite a few places in multiple states, but this is always his favorite. Ordered the chashu shoyu ramen, a kids ramen, and some karaage chicken on this visit. Food came out quick, very consistent from trip to trip. My son devoured everything. Lol. He ate his, most of my noodles, and all the crunchy chicken pieces. This must mean it's good? Right?! Overall a good place to go on a rainy day for a nice hot bowl of ramen. Is it my favorite? No. But it's consistent, it's affordable, and the service is good. Also my sons happy. What else do I need?

For the rest of us cynical minds, we decide to wait out the traffic and eat before heading home. Or in my case, the BF waits patiently for me to finish my insane work schedule and then takes me to eat. What can I say, after many long days at work without having the luxury of taking a lunch break, I get WICKED HANGRY. I just want an ice cold draft IPA and a nice hot meal. Well, GTRP fills NO...
