One of my favorite boba shops in alameda, coming from a cheap student that loves to get their boba fix a few times a week. They have buy one get one free from 6-8 everyday (2 drink limit) and their drinks aren't the worst. The longest time i've waited was about 30 minutes but that was on halloween when it was PACKED. From what I notice, the busiest times are usually around 6. Even then, the wait is maybe 15 minutes for drinks. My go to is the milk foam green tea with boba. Their milk foam is always consistent and such a great texture, which is why I love it :). Their boba isn't as sweet as it used to be but it's still good enough for me. The staff are always nice and friendly too. Definitely hard to find parking around their BOGO time though.

Been here a few times. They got cute drinks. But something kept me from coming back more often, maybe too much competition. Will update if I come more often.

Always have a great experience with Gong Cha for friendly service and no frills boba. A lot of the poor reviews here are on the long lines during BOGO happy hour. Come another time then! They still manage to get their drinks out fairly quickly with 5 or 6 people behind the counter.
