The Tex mex is fine, but it distracts from the actual fact that this place makes one of, if not the best, hamburgers in Houston.

Their hickory smoke grill is great, you can taste it in the salsa, the burger, the fajita meat. Yes the menu is limited. So is In and Out and they're pretty damn good. When I see a limited menu, my expectations climb because they're focused and just have to do a few things great which is what happens here. It's clean, it's fairly priced, but the service and the vibe from the staff what is really remarkable. I have been here a few times this month and every time, slow or busy, the bussers and food runners have their head on a swivel, always cleaning and always moving. Sometimes even singing! For a counter service restaurant with no tip jar, they have a special group of people working for them and in 2022, post-Covid, that is very impressive.
