After our bad experience at a diner yesterday; the last thing I wanted was a visit to a diner! But my wife encouraged me to come to Gotham City Diner... after all, we've been coming here for over 25 years. We made it in-spite of the heavy snow and sleet and proved to be worth it. They restored my faith in diners. My wife ordered the Mahi salad, and I ordered the Tuesday special lunch... oregano half chicken. The meals were very tasty, they came with soup and a beverage. My chicken came with rosemary roasted potatoes, a generous serving of steamed veggies. I had the chicken soup and finished with rice pudding. The chef really knows how to cook, the server is very experienced- 25 years in the same restaurant. Update on March 12 I went last Wednesday for breakfast and later for dinner. The breakfast was very good; the dinner was a disappointment. I ordered roast Turkey, the stuffing was ransid, the potato was stale. The meat tasted left-over... yuck.
