Outstanding balance of flavor and lovely acidity throughout our meal. Cocktails are unique and delicious.

I only went once and ate outside. Service was nice and the food looked really pretty. We had the queso cheesy appetizer and it was so heavy I couldn’t even finish my meal. However, afterward I got super sick, like food poisoning, call a plumber sick. So I’m suspicious. Just one guy’s single visit, so it might have been something else. But that’s all I ate that day.

Being the big street tacos fan that I am, I was sooo excited to try out Gracia and Mexican food in Seattle. Like most places in Ballard, it's busy, and we had about a 20 minute wait for our table. The menu isn't big, but it has a little bit of everything.  There were three of us and we started with the salsa trio. Out of the three, the salsa abuela was my favorite, and I also enjoyed the homemade chips. For my entree, I had campechanos, cabeza, and lengua tacos, all without cilantro. All three were amazing and I absolutely loved how different and unique each was with their flavors. I didn't think any of the sals or tacos were spicy at all, so if you like spice, definitely make sure you ask for hot sauce - Gracia's homemade ones are delicious!! It's so unfortunate that I live on the other side of America, but if I ever make my way back to Seattle, there will be another trip to Gracia!
