You cannot beat the pies at this place. However, don't go for the coffee. Get the pie to go then go down the street to Starbucks

The Grand Traverse Pie Company is on the west side of Ann Arbor, Michigan. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon for Cherry Pie Ala Mode for B and a cup of Lobster Bisque for me. The LB was a C at best. The pie rated an A+ for a restaurant pie. It is order at the counter where they expected us to know just how to do that. The LB came with bread and I finally found where they keep the container of butter. Now that we know how to order, find the butter and fend for ourselves we'll try it again. B would eat cherry pie every day of his life. I am a rhubarb pie purist and theirs is combined with strawberries or was on Saturday. They offer many pie choices.
