This steakhouse is a bit outside the town. The ambience of the steakhouse is better then other restaurants. The food itself however is not, at least when it comes to the most important part - the steak itself. It was not of the quality that one might expect. the sirloin steak was flat and of inferior quality. the sidedishes however were delicious. the service was good and attentive. it is to bad the the steak was not delicious..that is after all the reason to go to a steakhouse. otherwise it would have been worth recommending. Sorry.

Holy cow, Batman, I think that there's an actual cow in this burger! I tried out Great American Steakhouse today off Vinton and got their Hatch chile burger. It was surprisingly a great value as the burger and steak fries was only $12. Beats the Big Mac Meal I get for $8-9; for a few bucks more I get real beef versus a combination of beef and soy "meat". For some reason I thought this was a high end steak house. The steaks and burgers run an average of $12-$15 which is frankly Chili/Applebee's pricing for much better quality food.The clientele consisted of construction foremen, border patrol, and older snowbirds/elderly locals.
