Best Chinese food I’ve ever found in any state across the US so far! The place is not elegant and a lot of people don’t know about it, it’s one of those hole in the wall places but it’s delicious!!!

I judge different restaurants solely based on a specific ubiquitous item from that genre of restaurant. For pizza places, it's the hand tossed pepperoni, for sushi spots it's the California roll, for Chinese places, it's the egg roll. Based on the egg roll test, this is the best Chinese place in the Albany area. The lo mein was good too, not too starchy but still substantial. Folks were nice, and their covid precautions were better than any other restaurant I've seen in town. They straight up have a plastic sheet from ceiling to counter, it's 2021. I'm vaccinated, but I appreciate the due diligence. Great Wall is the best Chinese restaurant in Albany. Their egg rolls are tasty af
