We tried a lager and a porter and I didn't think the lager was anything too special but my husband loved his porter. There were plenty of outdoor tables available when we were there on a Tuesday afternoon and we were able to bring our baby without any issues.

This is pretty much a repeat of my review of Green Man Brewery, but more of a re-emphasis on The Green Mansion. Built a couple of years ago as I discovered, this place is built for lots of beer production and lots and lots of people to drink it. Technically, the entrance with its patio and fire pits are on the Church Street side of the building, but we went in through the Buxton Avenue doors. Upon entering, we were in the boutique shop part of the building that also contains a bar area. Very clean, very spacious with high ceilings. I dug it immediately. Consisting of three floors, there's an elevator should you choose to go up to the third floor taproom that overlooks the production floor on the first.
