Green Mill in Arden Hills

So.,I grew up going to the original Green Mill on Grand...moved out to Blaine ten years ago....Found they had opened up a location there. And went to it at least once every couple of months. Service and food fantastic..and as we lived here it got worse and worse and worse...food...service...both way below par...we just stopped going..period...same for its Neighbor Bonfire.. Both disappointing..a couple of months ago we were in shoreview..and the restaurant we wanted to go to had an hour wait... We went to GM instead...and surprised... Food was revamped. Quick..hot( burnt my mouth)...although it was Happy Hour on a Friday.  Service was spot on....SO tonight we wanted the Macaroni and Cheese with Lobster.. We took a chance and went to Blaine location. ....And NOT disappointed!! We had Aubrey.. She is what pleasant service is all about..on top of things...not helicoptering.. .sodas refilled right away...my wife and I were going to split the Mac/Cheese/Lobster,requested another plate...it came to us already split.. THAT BLEW ME AWAY!!and the food was fantastic.. The Italian Poutine ..definitely a diet breaker..but SOOOOO good... Thanks Blaine Team!!        P.s.did I mention how   awesome Aubrey was?!!?? Thanks Shoreview team!!!

The food is mediocre. So is the atmosphere. Very dark. This place looks more like a dive bar. However, the staff was nice.
