Visited Grimaldi's Pizzeria in La Cantera today and placed a To Go order. My daughter went inside according to server at 15 minutes. I waited outdoors to make some business calls. 15 minutes later she still hadn't returned. So I went indoors. The restaurant wasn't filled-2 seated and 2 others besides us waiting for orders. There were 2 other patio tables with customers eating. I asked her what was the issue as she sat at the bar waiting. She said no one's around and hadn't give her any status of order. So I flagged one of two servers cleaning and asked about our order. He said they were behind because they had to redo a bunch of orders because the orders didn't look right. Thirty minutes.:.. I returned to vehicle and made another call. 45 minutes later, I think wait....this is $35 pizza not a $5 pizza special. Granted servers didn't apologize nor offer a glass of water or soda for the extended wait. I requested the manager. I spoke with Cherise, and I told her I had to leave for another meeting...
