We are out of towners but Guy’s had been recommended by a friend. Everyone knew each other there but they treated us like part of the gang. We each got a po-boy, 1 shrimp and 1 oyster, cut them in half so we had a half of each. They were both excellent! The shrimp and oysters were cooked to perfection and were delicious! Don’t forget to bring cash! But they do have an ATM.

Great place to eat,have a beer or cocktail, still ol'school from the 1st time I went there in the 90's,LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!!!

We make a special effort to stop in Amite, LA for Guy's Oyster Bar. Best oysters, friendliest people, wonderful atmosphere, and great jukebox. We will come again.
