It’s no easy task ordering food here. I made sure to point at the menu for my selections because of the language barrier. My friend wanted the steak fries and I got a chicken taco salad. Oddly, they came with cheddar cheese. I want to say that is the first time I ever got that type of cheese on Mexican food. The guacamole was just ok. It was lacking flavor, possibly needed more salt and coriander. The chicken was sort of strange. It was a super chopped style, small pieces that were a bit dry but they packed on so much sour cream that it was barely noticed. Would I order again? Probably not when there are a couple other local restaurants that a better.

I recently went here for the first time.. I was barely greeted by a young boy, maybe 13 years old, so the customer service was not what I like. If young people are going to be the first person that the customer has contact with, they need to at least act like they want to be there & be pleasant.. At one point a woman walked in from behind, but she didn't speak & she went back.. I asked him about two items that you can find at just about any other Mexican restaurant,! & he seemed like he did not k...

Just say no to this business. We came to Habanero Mexican Grill based on good Yelp reviews. When we entered the store there were no other customers. I greeted the man behind the counter. He did not greet me back. The tacos on the menu come in sets of 3, and I did not know if you could get 3 different types, so I asked. He ignored my question and greeted a new customer coming through the door. I got in line behind the new customer who just came in, and then two more unconnected customers came in, and got in line behind me. When it was my turn after the customer who came in after me, he told me to step out of line and that he was going to serve the man behind me first and then the man behind him. He basically refused me service. Of course we left. I understand wanting to server your regulars, especially if they are just there to pick up phone-in orders, but this was super in my face rude. Avoid this business.
