We stopped in after a long day of being on the road, and Happy Thai Express happened to be across the street from our hotel (Ashland Springs Hotel). We checked out the menu & reviews and decided to try it! We got an iced Thai tea, fresh spring rolls, green curry fried rice with shrimp, and pineapple fried rice. The Thai tea was really yummy, just as good as any I've had before. My husband loved the fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce! They were good, I just don't like tofu! The peanut sauce was really good. My pineapple fried rice was really flavorful and not spicy! I asked for no raisins. My husband's green curry rice had a lot of flavor and he said the shrimp complemented it perfectly. Definitely recommend!

My mom and I came here on a whim since we were craving Thai food -- service did not disappoint! I will say it was fairly busy around 4:30pm, but we decided to dine in because we parked pretty far away. It was loud so I would recommend take out, but the noise wasn't unbearable! Pad Thai was great, no complaints. The yellow curry was also great, but I will say it's just a little soupy / not as spicy as I thought it would be. They have a spicy sauce to use at their tables though! I would still definitely order it again. We waited about 10-15 mins for our food, but I do think it would've been a sliiightly longer wait for takeout just from the sheer amount of calls they received. I think I'll be back at some point! (( Also it was my first time here ))

Mam's food is made consistent and with care, and Peter, who is the ONLY front of house person is patient and dedicated. But he needs help to get to all the calls and cash all the pick ups out, and check and bag all the orders. You hardly can get thru when you call then you wait once they pick up, then you wait while you watch him juggle too many things, I always feel bad when I get dinner from here, I wish I felt good because Mams food is delicious and Peter is doing more work than one person can do. I hope they can get more calls and make more money because people clearly want Happy Thai Express to be successful for a long time!
