I'm not from Cuba, but this food reminded be of my chilhood homecooked meals in Mexico. If you want authentic food, food with soul, check out Havana Restaurant. And our waiter, Santiago, was like an old friend welcoming you home. I know where we'll be eating on our next trip to Albuquerque.
