Absolute must-try if you are in or around the area - amazing food with an even better aerial view of the New River and surrounding mountains! Quick note as of July 2021: the entire Lodge is under renovation besides the restaurant, which is still open but quite empty. This restaurant, at Hawks Nest State Park, is a real gem! We were just lucky enough to be staying at the lodge, which made it quite convenient! We ate dinner here twice and both times were served by Aleeah, who was so friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed a lunch here, which offered a different menu. Each meal was delicious, portions generous, and prices reasonable. Service was prompt and the view of the canyon below was incredible! If not staying at the lodge, take a drive to enjoy the park's canyon views, and stay for lunch or dinner!
