In that fierce competition, what rises to the top?⁠ ⁠ For me it's family run places like Hawwi Ethiopian Restaurant in Alexandria, where the literal labor of love among the owners is evident! This is a place where you immediately feel welcome, the staff is attentive and genuinely warm, the food and coffee delicious, and you leave feeling warm and full! ⁠
