You'll get a solid meal here. A consistent hitter on the field. Just way to expensive for what it is. $300 after tip/tax for (3) people using the $59 a person chef's choice 4-course meal. I didn't drink alcohol. The other two in my party had wine which was like $70 total (that's how they get ya). We had a reservation, but still had to wait a bit. Ambiance Modern, white, and silver. Dim lights. On the warmer side. Not too cozy unless you are in a booth. Stop using barn doors for the gender neutral bathrooms. It doesn't feel truly private. Nice touches within the bathroom though. Same Taylor Swift music the whole damn night. Making my ears ble...

We had a lovely meal at Haymaker! My mother in law took us here to celebrate, we wanted to do Happy Hour and then move to dinner but decided to just skip right to the tasting menu because it's such a great deal/idea. We were super surprised at the generous portions and variety of food. It was all so good! And four courses! We started with a delicious loaf of bread and had some fabulous cocktails with tequila and mezcal, our favorite. Mauricio was our server and...

The ambiance was too cold, too industrial, and the service was mediocre. Unfortunately the food was average as well. Choosing the chef’s special seemed like a great idea to get a sampling of the best items on the menu but as soon as a simple salad and mashed beets arrived, it just went downhill. Spicy spaghetti drowning in olive oil, “beef cheek” that tasted like grandma’s crockpot special, and a bland dessert custard. This restaurant has no cohesion and the chef’s choices were confusing, boring, and dated. The meal had no signature flavor, and we left hungry. Perhaps the chef’s special is really just the scraps that can’t actually be put on the menu. Not worth 69$ per person. Thank god they sell alcohol. Such a bummer and waste of money. On our way to Domino’s!
