I am staying in an AirBnB nearby. I brought my coffee beans and my grinder and French press with me (I value my morning coffee!), but everyone else is still sleeping, so I couldn't grind my beans. I set out to find a coffee shop that might serve a good strong cup of coffee. Headlands Coffeehouse was a ten-minute walk, sounded good from what I could see online. I ordered a large coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The coffee is weak, almost undrinkable. I am drinking it because I am a coffee fiend, but I'm only drinking it as I eat my breakfast sandwich, which seems to have been barely reheated, it was just above room temperature. In one minute, I'm going to leave and find a decent cup of coffee - I HOPE - in Ft. Bragg. The only good thing about this cafe is the music, so far the Ramones, Peter Gabriel "Games Without Frontiers," and, now, David Bowie "Rebel Rebel." Okay, I'm out. It's beautiful outside.
