Loved everything about this place - service is amazing and the food exceeded expectations. Best sushi I’ve had in Asheville yet! Very fresh and done right - no fillers or short cuts. And the tonkatsu pork belly ramen was amazing. Paired with the cozy, homey vibe and lounge/jazz music - it made for the perfect weekday lunch

I was in Asheville for weekend and wanted to have just easy nice dinner. Honestly, after moving from Cali to NC, my expectation for sushi place has been very much lower but Heiwa shokudo was good one! We had Ramen and some rolls and they were all good=) Ramen's broth is lighter side as Tonkotsu Ramen but it was not too salty and had good flavor. Rolls: They did not put too much sauce which were huge plus for us. I hate when my sushi roll is swimming in the sauce. If we are every in town, we will come back!
