My wife and I went to High Point just last night. We had not been there in 12 months. I had a ribeye. It was a disaster. Chewy as a rubber band. I always thought a person could depend on the tenderness of a ribeye, especially prepared by a professional chef. The waitress, Danielle, was very kind and attentive. She took my ribeye back to the chef and he attempted to rectify by cooking it from rare to medium rare. It didn't work. So Danielle asked me if she could substitute a fillet instead of the ribeye. I said of course! She brought back a filet which was no more tender than the ribeye. What is going on I asked myself? I suppose they just had less than top quality meat. That's all I have to say, I won't be back to High Point Restaurant.

Lost our reservation easy to see why since they keep them on order pads not a book or other system. No tap beer middle of the road wine selection. Steak not cooked correctly to order. Seasoned only with salt.... lots and lots of salt. It wasn't a terrible experience it there are far far better places in Okoboji
