Great place to be for live rock music and dancing on a Saturday night. You will find a friendly crowd hanging out with the band and having a great time. The staff is friendly and there is an excellent selection of beer on tap. Many thanks to the Taphouse for supporting live music in Antioch. Check out Blue Moonshine Band and Joker on Jack if you get a chance.

I went to Hillcrest Restaurant and Taphouse on a weekday evening. The restaurant has a great look and feel. We were seated at our table and the waitress came by to take our order. We ordered the garlic cheese bread knots along with a margarita pizza to share and bottomless fries. First we got the cheese garlic bread knots and they were outstanding!! They tasted delicious and the bread tasted super fresh. Then we got our pizza and fries. The fries needed some kind of salt or seasoning. They have no flavor. I did however liked the way they were fried. I wish they just tossed some salt on them right after they were out of the fryer. The pizza was very soggy. It also was not seasoned properly. I added some salt to it which improved the flavor quite a bit. The sauce on the pizza just made the pizza very soggy I think they need to try a different sauce on there and maybe add some salt to the sauce. I would however come back for the garlic knots
