A great store.. I was deeply saddened when I drove by today after a long time and it was gone. My mom used to take me here in the 90s to buy nascars indy cars and hot wheels. Loved this store so much. Even came here in 2010 and bought some more diecasts.. bummed it's gone.. also the tree store where my mom would take me to buy stuffed animals is gone too. I guess part of the reason is the new generation of kids only cares about video games and don't care about playing with model trains or working in rc cars.. I feel bad for their lame generation.. I'm 31 but I'm a old in my soul... thanks for the memories and fun toys

Well I jumped in my 57 bel air and cruised down to the diner before heading down to what used to be the hobby town. I'm a boomer so I ate 50 oz of usda steak at the diner. And ate 5 eggs. Then I got into my 57 bel air Chevy and went down to Hobby town. More like hobby FROWN. I was so mad my nuts tried to turn Chrome just like my 57 bel air Chevy. I decided to drive my 57 Chevy bel air to my home but not before honking at the lazy ass new generations. Because I am a boomer. I believe we all had the same economics. The same everything. So I dont understand these false "difficulties"

The hobby city hobby store is gone. It's a shame. I remember when this place was just a hobby store and a dirt lot with a train ride.
