Best sushi I ever had

I am not happy trying to get into this place the past week and I believe it's closed. This was our favorite sushi place must have eaten here 30 times every time was perfect. There are so many places I've been that should have been closed and haven't this one hurts. I miss you Hokkaido.

My husband and I have been searching for places to get asian dishes, and we tried Hokkaido Asian Bistro last night. The miso soup was bland (I've never wished for more salt in a miso soup before!), the beef teriyaki was cool and fatty, in an oily sauce, the haru maki (spring rolls) didn't seem to have any vegetables in them, but had a sort of cream cheese center that I would have expected in crab rangoon, and came with a terrible sauce. My husband ordered steak fried rice, and got plain fried rice with chunks of steak on top... not exactly bad but not exactly what we were expecting. We were very unhappy with our food, which set us back like 55$: usually this would be fine (big portions mean leftovers!), but instead of being able to snack on our food the next day for lunch, all the leftovers went in the garbage, and I was still hungry.
