Holiday Bowl in Altoona

Rude staff and slow service. We asked about getting a drink and was told to wait a half hour because she was busy. Went back up a half hour later and she told us to wait 15 more minutes. Went up 15 minutes later and she told us to wait 5 more minutes. Tried again 5 minutes later and she told us they weren’t serving drinks because their kids league just started. When we left, the older lady (mentioned in a few other comments) glared at me the entire way out the door.Such a shame because the facility is very nice. Horrible experience.

Great place to bowl super clean lanes and also a pro shop for bowlers. The prices are good and the food and snacks are decent to. If your looking to have fun with your family and looking for something to do for a couple hours this is perfect. If you are interested in leagues there are plenty. The hours are almost all day usually closing pretty late in the night. Make sure to check out their website for seasonal offers and other offers they might have. Overall I think this is a great place to have a good time with friends and family!

Went to holiday bowl for my nephew's bowling tournament,which is almost 3hrs from home, had called a few days before to see if family could bowl after he was done and was told yes. When we arrived and stood at the counter the staff was quite rude and didnt even want to speak to me or my brother. Once someone finally spoke with us we had asked if we could start bowling while waiting on my nephew. We were told there was no way we could bowl, they needed to clean the 16 open lanes for a later tournament. We said had talked to someone and earlier in week and told we could , he rudely replied theres no way they told you that. I will never step foot into that place again.
