Was in From Oklahoma for a short fishing trip. Found Home Slice on Google Maps, and figured it looked like a good place to find a hot breakfast and talk to a few of the locals on a cold morning, while I waited for the sun to warm things up outside. Very sweet young lady (the locals called her Sunshine) served me and was very attentive. The cook made me some of the best biscuits and Gravy I’ve ever had at a restaurant and cooked my eggs perfectly, and a couple older gentleman were able to tell me about some of the local fishing holes. This place did not disappoint me, and if I’m ever in this part of Virginia again, I’ll be back for breakfast for sure!
