As usual when I'm in Chillicothe and need to grab a bite, I drove by all the national chains to get to Hicks. Why? First, because it's a local establishment, and I try to buy local when I can, especially in small towns. Second, I really wanted a tenderloin sandwich. And MAN do they have a great one! Not so huge that you can't manage it, but definitely larger than you expect. And the tots? Phenomenal. All that would be great by itself...but the carhops who work there always come out with a smile, a great attitude, and they make you feel like they WANT you there...
