Ran out brisket, baby octopus, fish but didn't tell us before we seat. The banchan taste really bad. The deep fried chicken mostly just breading. Spicy chicken marinade taste sour, its really bad.

Grill didn't seem very warm, some of the food was very tough. The shrimp was terrible. Beef brisket and beef bigoli were the best. The spicy chicken was medium quality. If the food had been better quality the price would have been good. Fun experience though.

Hon Machi Korean BBQ was good quality for the price. I for the most part really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The interactive dining style was pretty good, and the pricing was very fair for what you received. When I first got there, I felt a little snubbed on my way to the restroom by the wait staff who were standing around talking. When I left the restrooms, my sister had already been seated, and one of the snubbing wait ended up being our waiter...his attitude changed of course. The food was delicious. We were told , by our waiter, that the Octopuses head was supposed to be squishy and slimy, but I just cooked mine a little longer to ensure it was cooked all the way....because that’s how it should be. The rest of the meats were on point...except the shrimp. I prefer not to use frozen shrimp because fresh shrimp, once cooked, is more firm. Frozen shrimp tends to disintegrate; leaving a not so appetizing texture. All in all, it was a good meal. I would go back...I just wouldn’t order the shrimp again.
