The food was unexpected.That is to say, I did not expect the level of high quality food..I ordered just the brussel sprouts and was more than happy with my selection..The others ordered the chicken and waffles, the meat balls and the pretzel..All highly recommended.

It took a global pandemic for me to finally try Honor Kitchen & Cocktails. I know that's ridiculous!! I have always wanted to check out this popular Emeryville restaurant/bar but never had the chance. So when I saw they were offering a 3 course Easter dinner takeout menu and a Bloody Mary special, I placed an order immediately to show my support. My three course meal included asparagus salad lemon vinaigrette, vegan farro risotto, and butterscotch pudding w/ sea salt caramel. I opted to have the risotto as my main course instead of the honey ham. Pickup was a breeze. The staff at Honor Kitchen really took their employees and customers' health seriously. They wore face masks and gloves. I was able to pick up my order quickly from a tent they set up outside the restaurant. My meal was absolutely delicious. The Bloody Mary was a steal, 16 oz for $5!! Thanks Honor Kitchen for a stellar quarantine meal! I'll deff return to dine in the restaurant after this whole coronavirus situation is over. Can't wait!
