All the Room's need upgrading and remodeling for the cost of the Rooms!I would never spend the $$$ they ask for 1 night in this Historic Hotel. The prices are way too expensive when there is very minimal comfort to the Rooms.

Hotel Captain Cook has got to be the NICEST hotel in anchorage! They have an awesome classic look of a new york hotel while remaining classic Alaskan. I perform at the comedy nights in the whales tail bar and it is really great. Everyone is really friendly (especially the doorman).
