House of Blues Anaheim in Anaheim

Attended "Ladies Of The 80's"Sound was good and the venue was comfortable - if you are in VIP. That way you can sit down and order food. Otherwise it's standing only in general admission. This is my first show here tonight. The staff is extremely friendly. What I did not like what they have a half hour of live music and then a half an hour in between with just the DJ and then a half an hour of live music and then another half hour of DJ only while I guess they changed the stage. This happened throughout the whole night from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. For $100 I'm not thrilled.

Great venue and bartenders and the artist playing here are always my favorite. But please train your security staff to know the difference between the color wristbands they issue when checking IDs. The man stared at my ID for longer than a minute and I still got a 18+ band & having service at bar being denied to me and my friends was embarrassing just because your security thought it would be funny or didn’t even know what he was doing. Mistakes happen understandably but how did he check for the longest and still got it wrong ?

Well before the big move House of Blues Anaheim was one of favorite spots to grab a quick burger and a beer. Unfortunately since the move the Juicy Lucy's are no longer Juicy and the rest of the food just doesn't seem to be what it used to be.  We'll defiantly see shows at the venue but we'll only be eating at the other locations throughout the county.  It will be a nice treat when we travel.  This location has only turned into a huge disappointment. If it wasn't for the venue it would get 1 star. Just wanted to update my review after giving them another shot post pandemic and the food is no better.  Menu is smaller and the food just was not any good.  Will just have to have HOB when I travel to Orlando, Chicago and Las Vegas.  I've never had an issue at any of those locations and their food is superior compared to this location.
