I'm so happy that we stopped here to try this yummy treat. I was pleasantly surprised that they weren't too sweet (we tried the strawberry cheesecake and the Mamino's tropical fruit sundae). Next time we are in the area, we will be sure to stop again.

I had been wanting to try a chimney cake so when we found this place, stopping by was a no brainer. There is no seating inside which isn't great when it's cold at night. They also have no seating outside, so we borrowed a table at the pizza place next door. We got the Lemon Blueberry and the All American Apple Pie. Between the two, I preferred the Lemon Blueberry. There wasn't really any apple pie flavor in the other. I loved the concept, but I think these would be better without ice cream. The ice cream made the warm chimney cake hard almost immediately. As others warned, these are incredibly messy so be prepared. There was also a chocolate ball at the bottom of the cake which was an unpleasant surprise for someone who doesn't like chocolate. Overall, it's an interesting concept and I'm glad we stopped by to try it. Go for the Lemon Blueberry!

Not gonna lie, I thought this was going to be one of those overly hyped ig dessert spots with mediocre quality desserts. But honestly, House of chimney cakes has some dang good creamy and delicious ice cream. It wasn't too sweet and the flavor wasn't too overbearing. Definitely worth the hype in regards to the ice cream. I do think it's a bit over priced...
