H&T Burgers in Aiea

We passed this place as we were walking back to the car.  Looking at the pictures on the wall, it made me want a Teri Burger with fries.  Guess it pays for the establishment to post enticing pictures of their food because it worked with me! I looked over their many selections!  When you add up the cost per item, their Combo Meals was the way to go.  I ordered the Teri Burger Combo Meal for $9.88 which consists of the Teri burger, fries and medium drink.  The Teri sauce in the burger soaked the bottom bun, making it soggy so it was hard to eat but it was good.  Ordered the Teri Chicken plate for my husband which he thought was pretty good but will try the Fish and Chips Combo the next time.

The burgers are good.  The issue I had was when asking if I could have cheese on the Teri burger and was told NO.  I thought it was weird that I couldn't get cheese on the burger and just a Flat "NO".  They have cheese burgers and Teri burgers so why can't I have a Teri cheese burger?

*3.5* I absolutely love H&T Burgers teri fries! It's also why I have to give them 4 stars, you will only find these fries here! They cook the teri sauce on the grill, so it becomes this sticky syrupy delicious teri goodness they drizzle over extra crispy fries. The fries always stay crispy even if they are sitting in the teri sauce. I always order the teri burger with cheese and it's good. The only downside is the burger patty is very thin (I think they use May's frozen patties, if not it taste just like it). It's kind of rubbery but still good with the cheese and teri sauce. If they made homemade patties they would probably get 5 stars. They also have nachos, teri plates with rice (like chicken), and hot dogs with chili and cheese. I first tried H&T's in windward mall but I'm never on that side...
