Finding this unique pleasure started when a friend posted their discovery. Googleing "hugging Molly," developed a hunger to go to this restaurant. My first visit was after they had closed but we were allowed a peak, we were amazed at what we saw. At our next visit, we were delighted at the flavors of the foods we order and greatly enjoyed our visit was topped off with hand made milk shakes!! Every trip to and from PCB, we will be stopping at "hugging Molly"

We are new to Abbeville. Past Molly's many times. Their menu on line is different than what they are using now. We were very surprised how wonderful everything was. Definitely will eat here again. Also the soda shop in the front is cool.

Super cute diner, service was friendly, felt rushed at the end, but other than that I absolutely adored it.

Over rated. The cooks don't know the difference between beef and chicken.Price is ok. But again. Cooks don't know the difference between a cow and a chicken.Didn't say anything cause I was on my first date with what is now my wife.I bridaled my tongue. Waitress was good. But we only been back once to order banana splits. Now they were very good. Big serving. Had to leave her a 10.00 tip

Elizabeth was our waitress today for lunch and I can honestly say the was the best waitress I have EVER had. She is very knowledgeable of the menu. Lunch was amazing!

Some of the best food and sundaes ever!

If you're in the Abbeville area or close by Huggin' Molly's is a must see. Excellent friendly staff with fast service. Also very cool surroundings, lots of stuff to see. Before warned though, all of their desserts are gigantic. We could have easily split a couple instead of ordering one for everybody. Do yourself a favor and check it out when you're nearby, definitely something that must be seen in the Wiregrass.

It was a great place for date night. Food was excellent. Waitress was on her toes with the best service possible. We even shared a wonderful dessert. We are looking forward to our next visit. Better get their as the doors open it fills up fast.

Small town gem. Old fashion shakes made at a bar with excellent menu items. Fabulous sweet tea. Great service with reasonable pricing. The burgers are so good.

We arrived at 11:05. It was 11:15 by the time a waitress came and got our drink order, asking if we wanted to order food. We did. There were less than 10 of us in the whole restaurant, with no one at the front bar/room. 11:25 the waitress dropped our drinks off and that was the last that we saw her for our visit. For an hour visit, we saw 3 tables receive food and about 11-13 to go orders go out the door. We were not checked on, offered refills or informed that they we're possibly shorthanded, a little behind or that our food was coming soon. Nothing. No communication at all.As someone that has worked in the food industry, I'm very patient. But in 60 minutes, we got a glass of water and a glass of tea. Couldn't even find our waitress to get the check/pay for the tea.After driving 40 minutes out of the way just to finally try this place, I was very disappointed in our experience that didn't even involve food, as we finally walked out after the wait time hit an hour.

We always stop here on our way to 30A from Atlanta. Fantastic lunch spot and great opportunity to get out of the car!

French dip and club sandwich tasted great. Side of sweet potatoe fries and farlic mashed potatoes was also good tasting. Too much food to get dessert. Service was very quick, a full house right after opening. Wait staff hustling to take care of the full house. Enjoyed walking around and reading the movie advertisements and old style Pharmacy store.

Great atmosphere, awesome service, good eats!

Been wanting to come here for a while, passed through Abbeville thousands of times on the way to Florida, finally took the opportunity. Best decision. Friendly service. Amazing food. Try the fried pickles, grilled pimento cheese sandwich, build your own burger, sweet potato fries! Try it all!

Had a weird twilight zone feeling, full soda fountain area with attached dinning area. Open for lunch, closed for couple hours the open for dinner, if you go late watch out for the ghost of hugging Molly ___ legend says a 7ft tall woman big as a bail of cotton that will chase you down and give you a big hug and scream in you ear , we called her aunt polly in my family but whatever. Small town frozen in time - something different to check out on the way home from Panama city Beach .

Burger was delicious as advertised. Chocolate milkshake could have used more chocolate. Beautiful building and decor.

This restaurant takes covid precautions seriously. I felt very comfortable eating here. All staff was masked, tables separated for distancing. The restaurant is spotless. It is like stepping back in time. Well worth the couple miles out of the way off the freeway. The food and service were excellent.  Will definitely return.

This has been Our 3rd time we've been! Great menu....and the Servers are all very sweet!

Great food and a neat diner feel. I had the chicken wrap that was tasty and filling. My wife had the pimento cheese and ham and she loved it. Next time we visit we will try a burger.

the most nasty food ive ever had. the WORST chicken fingers. terribke quality never eating there again. makes me wanna vomit. giving it a 0.1 out of 10. only a 1 half a star.

Went there on a whim last week and so glad I did. One of the best steaks I have ever had, and my buddy got a hamburger, that he said was best he has ever had, so, hats off to this little hidden gem in Abbeville. Will definitely be going back!

Discovered Huggin Molly's while traveling through with a co-worker and man am I glad we found this place!!I LOVE the feel and decor of the restaurant, but the staff was amazing, almost as good as the food! That grilled cheese was to die for. We will definitely be back!

Nastiest food I've ever had. they really are serving FROZEN food and reheating it. nasty as crap chicken fingers and fries. never eating there again.
